Those summer Days: Music festival and carnival coming to Coney this summer

Call it the greatest weekend ever.

A two-day music festival will reportedly bring hip hop and electronic sounds to the shores of Coney Island this summer.

Performers in sixth-annual Greatest Day Ever Festival will take the stage at the Ford Amphitheater on the Coney Island Boardwalk on July 13 and 14, according to a Feb. 20 Billboard magazine report.

The festival-carnival, which organizers staged in Williamsburg in 2014 and 2015, is returning to the borough of Kings after going down in such distant locales as the Bronx and Governors Island in recent years.

The 2019 lineup includes deejays Carnage, Cashmere Cat, and Nina Las Vegas, plus rapper Pusha T, electronic group Snakehips, hip-hop duo City Girls, and electronic pair Zeds Dead, among others.

The $50-a-day tickets — available on Ticketmaster — offer access to all of the acts, as well as carnival rides. Festival reps did not immediately respond to inquiries about whether they will provide access to rides at Deno’s Wonder Wheel Amusement Park, Luna Park, both, or their own imported rides.

And attendees who work up an appetite while boogieing down to the techno and rap beats will be able to purchase a variety of food — including vegetarian, vegan, kosher, and gluten-free options — on site, along with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, according to the festival’s website.
