Triple threat: Trio savagely assaults, robs teen in Sunset Park

Cops are hunting for three goons who they suspect brutally beat a 19-year-old in Sunset Park on Oct. 8, leaving him bloodied and stealing his backpack.

Surveillance cameras captured the vicious attack unfold at 2pm on 56th Street near Sixth Avenue, with footage showing the trio ambushed their victim from behind before hurling him onto the street between the curb and a parked car.

The brutes then laid into the outnumbered young man, punching him and kicking him until one of the suspects pulled a knife and cut the backpack off his back, after which the gang fled on foot, police said.

The victim was taken to Lutheran Medical Center, where he received treatment to a nasty gash on the right side of his head, according to authorities.

Officers described all three suspects as teenagers around 5-feet, 10-inches tall.
