A gunfire locator alerted police to a Prospect-Lefferts Gardens shooting that left two men wounded on Sunday.
A Shot Spotter device registered four shots fired on Hawthorne Street near Nostrand Avenue on March 31 at 9:26 p.m. Officers arrived to find two 21-year-old men with bullet wounds — one was shot in the hand while the other took a bullet to the leg — both of which were ruled non-life threatening by paramedics, according to police.
Witnesses told detectives they had heard arguing before the gunfire erupted, and a dark-colored vehicle was spotted fleeing the scene, cops said.
Emergency personnel transported the victims to Kings County Hospital, both of whom refused to cooperate with investigators, according to police.
