Two men were killed after their car set fire following a collision in Marine Park on Saturday morning, according to authorities.

Police said the two men were speeding in their Nissan Altima and disobeying traffic laws when they sideswiped a 2010 Ford Edge. The driver of the Nissan was speeding on Flatbush Avenue and Avenue V when he lost control and hit a pole, according to authorities.

The two men in the Ford Edge were not injured during the crash or taken to the hospital, police said.

Cops were unable to identify the bodies or the year of the Altima due to the extent of the damage caused by the fire, according to law enforcement sources.

Several bystanders attempted to pull the men out from the car, but were unsuccessful, according to the police report.

The investigation remains ongoing.
