Police have arrested one of the men responsible for attacking and robbing an 18-year-old woman in Midwood on July 27 — but they are still looking for his partner.

The 18-year-old man suspect in custody was part of the duo that assaulted and robbed a woman entering an elevator inside her building at 9:40 pm. The men grabbed her, threw her on the ground, and attacked her. They then stole her purse and fled.

Police are still looking for the other suspect, who they say is in his early 20s and was wearing a black T-shirt and multi-colored pants at the time of the incident.

According to police, the suspect is being charged with robbery, assault, and criminal possession of stolen property.

Councilman Chaim Deutsch (D–Sheepshead Bay) is offering a $2,500 reward for information that leads to an arrest.
