If he wants to take pictures of his crotch, it’s okay with them.

The Manhattan Beach Community Group will honor disgraced congressman and mayoral contender Anthony Weiner in a private ceremony on Oriental Boulevard later today, when members will laud their former representative’s service in Washington, before he left office amidst a scandal caused by him tweeting photos of his mid-section to women he met on the internet.

In fact, some in the group say Weiner’s wiener shot proves he’s the right man to lead New York City.

“Any Jewish guy that takes a picture of his pecker, he’s gotta be cool,” said Manhattan Beach Community Group president Ira Zalcman. “We’re giving [Weiner] a plaque in recognition of all he’s done in congress and council.”

An honorary plaque will be presented to the candidate this evening in the hour leading up to the democratic mayoral debate that will take place tonight at the Manhattan Beach Jewish Center.

Zalcman clearly already has a favorite — Weiner.

“These other guys who are running, they don’t do it for me,” said Zalcman.

Democratic mayoral debate tonight at the Manhattan Beach Jewish Center [60 West End Ave. between Shore Boulevard and Hampton Avenue in Manhattan Beach, (718) 891–8700, www.mbjc.org], 8:15 pm.
