Vase to the face

Cops cuffed a lady who they say whacked a guy with a vase at a Smith Street pizzeria on Jan. 28.

The 38-year-old rage-a-holic accosted the victim in the bathroom of the establishment between Butler and Baltic streets around 11:55 pm and smashed him repeatedly with the glass vessel, according to police.

The victim was taken to Long Island College Hospital with injuries to his head and ear, as well as defensive wounds on his right arm and top lip, cops said.

Cell snatch

A no-goodnik was arrested for stealing a woman’s cellphone at a Smith Street drugstore on Feb. 2 cops said.

The 42-year-old victim said she left her iPhone in the store near President Street around 4:30 pm. Surveillance footage shows the 32-year-old thief taking the phone, say cops, who arrested him on Hoyt Street near Baltic Street at 5:20 pm.

The suspect was charged with petit larceny, criminal possession of stolen property, and marijuana possession.

Phone-y threat

A lowlife threatened to kill a man’s brother if the man did not hand over $1,000 at a Queens hospital on Jan. 29, police said.

The 57-year-old victim, who lives on Columbia Street near Huntington Street, said he got a phone call from the stranger around 5 pm. The scammer on the line said he had gotten into a car wreck with the guy’s brother and demanded $1,000 be delivered to the Queens medical center, or else, according to police.

The man quickly phoned his brother, who was fine, according to cops, who have not yet figured out who made the call.

She looked

A mugger held up a lady for $400 on Second Place on Feb. 1, cops said.

The 42-year-old victim reported she was between Court and Smith streets at 6:20 pm when the goon approached her from behind and yelled, “Drop the cash down, don’t look behind, and run!”

The woman turned around, saw the hoodlum with a silver-colored handgun in his waistband, and put $400 on the ground, police stated.

The man then grabbed the cash and fled down Second Place toward Court Street, cops said.

Mirror, mirror

A vandal damaged the right mirror of a parked car on Carroll Street on Jan. 31, cops said.

The 41-year-old Honda owner left his car near Columbia and Hicks streets at 7 pm and, when he returned at 9 am on Feb. 1, the mirror was hanging off the vehicle, police reported.

Bungled burglary

A prowler tried to break into a woman’s apartment on Union Street on Jan. 27 — with her inside, cops said.

The 35-year-old victim was home at her pad near Hoyt Street at 5:30 pm when someone tried to force her front door open, police said. The lady never got a good look at the would-be intruder, and he or she gave up after a few minutes, she said.
