Woman beats husband with kitchenware

62nd Precinct

Bensonhurst—Bath Beach

Kitchen crime

A woman smacked her husband repeatedly with a pot at their apartment on 19th Avenue on Aug. 6.

The 61-year-old wife grabbed the pot following a heated argument, and bashed it over her husband’s head several times inside their home between Benson Avenue and 86th Street at 11:30 p.m., the victim said.

The husband suffered laceration, bruising, and swelling to his head, and was treated a Maimonides Medical Center, authorities reported.

Bathrobe burglary

A bandit wearing a blue robe and a black towel on his head tried — and failed — to burglarize a restaurant on Shore Parkway on Aug. 7.

Surveillance footage shows the towel-clad bandit breaking the front glass of the restaurant by Bay Parkway at 3:45 a.m., when he attempted to break into the safe of the manager’s office, before trying to open two cash registers, which were empty, and the wannabe thief left through the back door empty handed, police said.

Violent crime

Two gunment held an 18-year-old boy on New Utrecht Avenue on Aug. 10., stealing $50, his cellphone, and his Puma sneakers.

The victims told police that he was sitting at a subway stop near 71st Street at 1:20 a.m., when one of the robbers grabbed him and pointed a gun at his torso, while the other goon demanded money and his cellphone. The victim gave the ruffians $50, but refused to give up his cellphone, prompting the robbers to punch him in the face, snatch his Samsung J7, and take off with his shoes, according to authorities.

Mugging theft

Two pistol-packing perps swiped $200, a cell phone, and a MetroCard from a man on 65th Street on Aug. 9. The victim told police that the thieves approached him between 16th and 17th avenues at 12:40 a.m.

They demanded his wallet and phone, and, when he refused, the louts pulled out a silver revolver and took his stuff, before hightailing it, cops said.
