Police are investigating the suspected homicide of a 21-year-old woman they found dead in a Crown Heights apartment building on Thursday.
Authorities rushed to the building on Crown Street between Rogers and Nostrand avenues at 4:35 pm, where paramedics pronounced Manhattan resident Kiara Guadalupe dead at the scene.
The Police Department deemed the death a homicide on Friday morning, but a spokesman could not provide any further information about the victim’s death, noting that the investigation remains ongoing.
A spokeswoman for the city’s medical examiner did not immediately return a request for information on the victim’s cause of death.
