Masked gunmen raided and robbed a Sackett Street office on Feb. 1.
Two men, disguised with black ski masks, burst into the workplace near Bond Street at 7:30 am. The marauders, each wielding a gun, encountered two workers and asked them where to find the company payroll.
The workers directed them to a $3,000 pile of cash, some of it from their own wallets, but even though they cooperated, the masked intruders handcuffed the victims.
A man robbed another man on Garnett Street, between Court and Smith streets on Feb. 5, only to find that the victim wasn’t carrying any money at all.
The mark was attacked from behind in the vestibule of his building at around 11:50 pm, police said. The 23-year-old man proffered his wallet, but the thief found no money in it. Disappointed, he returned the empty billfold and ran off.
Police arrested three youths who robbed two 10-year-olds at the corner of Warren and Clinton streets on Feb. 2
The boys were en route to their homes at 3:15 pm when they encountered some ruffians, aged 12 to 14. The older boys punched one of the youngsters, stealing his baseball bat, and threatened the other tyke, but he didn’t give up any personal property.
